Podróżnik opowiada o wrażeniach z pobytu w puszczach Ameryki:

- Najniebezpieczniejszym zwierzęciem jest jaguar. Nie ma przed nim ratunku. Kiedy ofiara ucieka – on ją dogoni, kiedy się wspina na drzewo – on będzie szybszy, kiedy wskoczy do rzeki – on też popłynie.

- A jeśli ofiara się schowa? – pyta słuchacz.

- Nic nie pomoże – odpowiada podróżnik – Jaguar schowa się także!
