Wyjątkowo szczęśliwe okazały się IX Powiatowe Zawody Sportowo- Pożarnicze Jednostek OSP. Gospodarzem imprezy były Szczury. W sumie o tytuł najlepszej drużyny walczyło 28 zespołów. Nasze drużyny dopingował m.in.: Antoni Hadryś z-ca wójta Gminy Ostrów Wielkopolski, który od samego początku sobotnich zawodów wierzył w sukces naszych zespołów.

Bezkonkurencyjne w Grupie C - kobiecej okazały się panie z OSP Daniszyn! Świetnie poradziły sobie najpierw ze sztafetą a potem z ćwiczeniem bojowym. W swojej kategorii pokonały 6 drużyn. Gratulacje i puchary najlepszej drużynie w powiecie wręczyli: Antoni Hadryś z-ca wójta Gminy Ostrów Wlkp., oraz Piotr Śniegowski przewodniczacy Rady Gminy Ostrów Wielkopolski. Trzecie miejsce w kategorii A - męskiej zajęła jednostka OSP Sobótka. W kategorii Cs – seniorki pierwsze miejsce zajęła OSP SOBÓTKA natomiast w kategorii As - męskiej trzecie miejsce należy do OSP TOPOLA MAŁA. Gminę Ostrów Wielkopolski reprezentowały jednostki OSP z DANISZYNA, TOPOLI MAŁEJ oraz SOBÓTKI. Nad przebiegiem imprezy czuwali m.in.: Sylwester Kląskała - prezes Zarządu Oddziału Gminnego ZOSP RP oraz Wiesław Janoś - Komendant Gminny OSP RP.
