Rada Seniorów ma przede wszystkim integrować, wspierać i reprezentować środowisko osób starszych w gminie Ostrów Wielkopolski. Na majowej sesji radni gminy Ostrów Wielkopolski jednogłośnie podjęli uchwałę w tej sprawie.
