IGO: Na wstępie gratuluję kolejnej udanej imprezy w unihokeja, kto jest organizatorem zawodów?
Tomasz Mocek: Organizatorem zawodów jest Szkolny Związek Sportowy Wielkopolska w Poznaniu. Po raz pierwszy udało nam się otrzymać organizację tej imprezy tzn. Półfinał B Województwa Wielkopolskiego w unihokeju dziewcząt. Jest to spore wyróżnienie dla naszego Uczniowskiego Związku Sportowego działającego w gminie Ostrów Wlkp. Są to XIV igrzyska szkół podstawowych 2012/2013. Warto wymienić również nauczycieli wychowania fizycznego z Zespołu Szkół Gorzyce Wielkie Renata Mądrzak i Bogdana Smardza, bez których trudno byłoby zorganizować zawody. Młodzież w turnieju otrzymuje również pełne wyżywienie, co na pewno ułatwia przebrnąć przez bardzo wyczerpujące zawody
IGO: Kto w zawodach reprezentuje naszą gminę?
T.M. Naszą gminę reprezentuje Szkoła Podstawowa Gorzyce Wielkie, która wygrała turniej rejonowy, który odbył się w Koźminie. Drużynę z Gorzyc Wielkich reprezentują uczennice: Dominika Pietrzak, Wiktoria Chałupniczak, Faustyna Finke, Magdalena Olszewska, Julia Olesiak, Wiktoria Rachwalska, Marietta Nowak, Justyna Muller, Barbara Mielcarek, Zuzanna Góralczyk, drużynę przygotował Renata Mądrzak
IGO: W jaki sposób pozyskał Pan środki na organizację zawodów?
T.M.: Główne środki pozyskaliśmy z Poznania, natomiast dodatkowo dokupiliśmy puchary dla najlepszego strzelca, bramkarza i zawodnika zawodów. Nagrody ufundowane są z kilku źródeł dodatkowo. Puchar za I miejsce i pamiątki ufundował Wójt Gminy Ostrów Wielkopolski Piotr Kuroszczyk, puchar za II miejsce ufundowało Stowarzyszenie Qltura 21. Puchary za III i IV ufundowała Rada Rodziców Zespołu Szkół w Gorzycach Wielkich.
IGO: Kolejna udana impreza sportowa z unihokejem w roli głównej. Czy promocja tej dyscypliny sportowej przynosi wymierne korzyści?
Bogdan Smardz: Oczywiście. Co prawda największe zainteresowanie jest cały czas w Gorzycach Wielkich, ale na to ma wpływ baza sprzętu i świetna hala sportowa, która została wyposażona w bandy do unihokeja. I w tym miejscu jeszcze raz podziękujemy za zakup wójtowi i Komisji Profilaktyki Uzależnień działającej w naszej gminie, którzy dokonali zakupu. Jest to ważne, ponieważ bez band nie można zorganizować żadnej imprezy, jest to prawdziwy hamulec. Do tej pory musieliśmy pożyczać bandy, jeździć nawet po 100 km., gdzie pomagał nam w tym Radek Wewiór. Teraz mamy świetne warunki, ale to wszystko przekłada się też na świetną promocję naszej gminy. Teraz będziemy mieli jeszcze obozy letnie w Gorzycach Wielkich z unihokejem co w dalszym ciągu będzie wpływało na rozwój tej dyscypliny sportu.
